The Tiger Inn Christmas 2016 Menu
Here is our Christmas 2016 menu, which is served every Wednesday through Sunday this December, except for Christmas Day. Or please view our main menu which is available year round.
Roasted butternut squash & cumin soup topped with vegetable crisps & served with crusty bread. (v)
Smoked salmon & seared scallops in a white wine cream sauce topped with a herbed crust.
Local game terrine served with a port chutney, salad garnish & crispy shallots.
Potted crab mixed with chilli, crème fraiche & chives served with sweet chilli & rocket.
Traditional Roast Turkey or Lamb served with roast potatoes, parsnip, pigs in blanket, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and gravy with a side of vegetables.
Cranberry and chestnut nut roast served with roasted potatoes, parsnip, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and gravy with a side of vegetables. (v)
Pan seared monkfish with a crayfish & chive butter sauce, curly kale and straw potatoes.
Oven roasted pheasant breast & confit leg served with a fondant potato, honey glazed Chantilly carrots & a blackberry jus.
Seasonal vegetable risotto topped with a parmesan crisp. (v)
Trio of chocolate- chocolate profiteroles, chocolate truffle & chocolate ice cream.
Winterberry panna cotta served with home-made shortbread.
Traditional Christmas pudding served with brandy custard.
Lemon posset topped with a redcurrant compote and served with home-made shortbread.
